Masquerade

Wondering what to buy a writer for a present?

You could do a lot worse than this. I absolutely adore these Masquerade pens from Cross. They are beautifully weighty ballpoints with raised detail. Internet Ink describes:

The swirling peacock-feather pattern shimmers over ivory pearlescent lacquer, and is enhanced with accents of silvery engraving that add intrigue and dimension.

They really are a joy to write with. I use one for signing books. They come in (clockwise) Raven Black, Cardinal Red and Peacock Green. Refills are readily available at all good stationers.

Shops that stock them include House of Fraser and John Lewis. There are also internet stockists.

Guaranteed to be a treasured gift.
